A
typical American house
You
can tell just by the flag hanging in front of it, but also you can see
the plants growing outside the house. Of course they must've been planted
for along time. But there aren't many small short plants beside tall big
trees. And the shrubs in the yard are all cut neatly and nicely (Chinese
people rarely grow these plants because they don't bloom and they require
periodic care). Moreover, the car parked in front is an American car (Chinese
people usually drive Japanese and European car).
A typical Chinese family house
It's pretty obvious just by looking at the front yard and the plants.
Chinese people like to grow lots of plants, especially plants that are
short and have flowers. They also like to grow different colors of plants,
so when they flourish, they kind of decorate the exterior of the house.
